Farmers growing canola (also called rapeseed) usually fight pests by piling on several control methods at once, like a toolbox where you grab whatever's available. This review argues for a smarter approach: designing habitats, training beneficial insects' behavior, and using evolutionary tricks so all these methods actively reinforce each other instead of just coexisting. The idea is that a hedgerow, a companion plant, and a predatory insect's learned habits work best when they're built to complement one another, not just added up.
