Sources
Every statement on this site has a data source. Here's where the research comes from.
This is a provenance page, not a per-article citation index — for the source behind a specific article, see the attribution link on that article's page.
The world's largest database of biomedical and life sciences research. We pull plant biology, agriculture, botany, and ecology papers — the backbone of the site's fact base.
A citizen science platform where millions of naturalists log species observations worldwide. We track trending plant observations to surface what people are actually seeing outdoors.
An open, comprehensive catalog of scholarly works across every discipline. We use it to fill gaps and cross-reference papers that PubMed and Europe PMC don't index.
A European life-sciences literature database overlapping with, and extending beyond, PubMed's coverage — broadens the pool of research we can draw from.
A preprint server for biology. We catch plant science research before it clears peer review — often months ahead of formal journal publication.
How sources feed the site
Every week the pipeline pulls new records from each source above, an AI synthesis step turns each one into a plain-language summary, and the result is cross-linked into the knowledge graph of 3244 articles, 1329 plant species, and 330 research topics. See About for the full pipeline, or Privacy & Licensing for how each source's content is licensed and attributed.
