Plants don't just react to whether it's day or night, they actually measure how long the daylight lasts and use that information to reshape which genes get switched on and off. This study found that tiny RNA snippets, including ones chopped up from transfer RNA molecules, shift their patterns depending on day length and often move in step with specific genes. The team built a free web tool so anyone can look up how these molecules behave across different day lengths in this well-studied plant.
