After mushrooms are harvested, farms are left with huge piles of used growing material that's usually treated as waste. This review explains that this leftover stuff is actually packed with beneficial fungi, enzymes, and nutrients that can feed soil, fend off plant pathogens, and even help clean up polluted ground.
